PT Denera President Director Fadli Rahman said that Serang Raya was one of the locations considered the most ready of the 11 priority areas for PSEL development nationally.

The project has now entered the technical design preparation stage. The Banten Provincial Government together with the Serang City Government, Serang Regency Government and Cilegon City Government are also completing a number of supporting needs.

This preparation includes the provision and development of land, water supply, and guaranteed waste supply from the three areas to be served.

Prepare land up to 30 hectares

The Serang City Government has prepared around 25 to 30 hectares of land for the construction of PSEL in the Cilowong area.

Serang Mayor Budi Rustandi said the land acquisition process was underway and entering the payment stage. After payment is completed, land documents will be processed through the National Land Agency before being submitted to Danantara.

“That's it, God willing, later this month there will be payment. "So we take care of it all the way to BPN, then hand over the letters to Danantara," he said. Budi said.

According to Budi, the area of โ€‹โ€‹land prepared is considered sufficient for the project's needs.
