About Earth Lines
GARIS EARTH is a national media that presents information, knowledge and collaboration space regarding the environment, energy, green economy, technology, sustainable lifestyles and travel that brings humans closer to nature. We work so that environmental issues can be understood in clear language, close to everyday life, and useful for decision making.
The Earth Line does not stop at reporting. We develop research, training, forums, campaigns and field activities that bring together the government, business world, academics, community organizations, communities and citizens. Each program is directed at strengthening knowledge, encouraging behavior change, and producing actions that can be felt to be beneficial.
Background
Indonesia has extraordinary natural wealth, but it also faces increasingly real pressures. Climate change, pollution, forest destruction, waste problems, declining air and water quality, loss of biodiversity, and increasing disaster risks affect people's health, economy and life.
On the other hand, environmental information often comes in technical language, is spread across many sources, or only receives attention when a disaster has occurred. Society needs media that is able to explain the relationship between policies, economic activities, natural conditions and their impact on daily life.
This need is the background to the presence of EARTH LINE. We want to make environmental issues easier to understand without simplifying the facts. Reports are prepared using journalistic discipline, verification, data and a human perspective so that readers can understand the problem and see the solution options.
Vision
To become a national environmental media that is trusted, influential, and able to encourage awareness and joint action to protect the earth and Indonesia's future.

Editorial Principles
Every GARIS BUMI journalistic work adheres to the Journalistic Code of Ethics, Cyber Media Reporting Guidelines, and the public interest. The editorial team prioritizes accuracy, verification, balance, independence, as well as a strict separation between news and commercial interests.
We provide space for interested parties to explain the facts, use data responsibly, and make corrections if errors are found. In complex environmental issues, we strive to demonstrate the impact on people and nature without ignoring the economic, social and policy context.
Professional Editorial Crew
GARIS BUMI is managed by a professional editorial crew who have journalistic experience and competency certification at the Young Journalist, Middle Journalist and Main Journalist levels. These competencies strengthen editorial capabilities in searching, verifying, processing and presenting information according to journalistic standards.
The editorial team also builds networks with sources, researchers, practitioners, communities and contributors in various regions so that reporting has a strong context and is close to field conditions.

Implementation prioritizes collaboration, community involvement, safety and sustainability after the activity is completed.
Collaboration Partners
GARIS BUMI is open to collaborating with ministries and institutions, regional governments, state-owned companies, private companies, universities, schools, research institutions, conservation organizations, communities and society. The form of cooperation can be adjusted to the program objectives as long as it does not interfere with editorial independence and does not conflict with the public interest.
Our Commitment
