Sinjai asks for sanitation risk data to be used as basis for determining areas and budgets
The Sinjai Regency Government's statement has not mentioned the location of the water source to be tested, the inspection parameters, or the implementation schedule. This test is still being submitted as a follow-up direction.
Public input must undergo verification
Andi emphasized that public consultation is necessary to maintain the accuracy of the study. This forum is not intended to adapt study results to the wishes or interests of certain parties.
"What we prioritize is not changing study results based on wishes, but rather understanding the results correctly, maintaining their accuracy, and using these results as a basis for improvement," he said.
According to Andi, the EHRA document has gone through data collection, processing and analysis in accountable stages. However, input regarding factual errors or information requiring clarification remains open for recording and verification.
He asked that the results of the consultation be integrated into the program planning and activities of each regional organization. The implementation still needs to be explained through determining priority areas, people in charge, program needs, and a budget for sanitation improvements.
