  Edit

In a joint meeting with Commission XII DPR RI, Vinda revealed that national waste generation reached 144,562 tons per day. This number grows by around 1.48 percent every year as Indonesia's population increases to 285.4 million people.

  Edit

Of all this generation, only around 25 percent of the recorded waste has been managed. Indonesia has 522 final processing sites or TPAs, but around 70 percent of them still use open dumping systems.
