Home Industry Training for Women was held by the Badung Regency Population Control, Family Planning, Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (DP2KBP3A) Service in the Flamboyan Meeting Room, Badung Government Center, Thursday (15/10/2026).
Head of the Women's Empowerment and Gender Mainstreaming Division of DP2KBP3A Badung, I Nyoman Subratha, said the training aimed to increase participants' creativity in processing materials that had previously been considered useless.
"The issue of waste is becoming a concern. We want waste to really be used into products that have selling value," said Subratha when opening the activity.
Participants were introduced to opportunities for using waste as material for creative products. It is hoped that these skills will become provisions for starting a business from home and opening up an additional source of income for the family.
