Want to go on holiday to a National Park? Tickets can now be ordered via the AKTN application
Payments are made non-cash via available channels, including QRIS and bank transfer. Prospective visitors need to ensure the payment status is successful before leaving and save proof of booking to show to the officer.
Used in a number of conservation areas
In the initial stages of implementation, AKTN services have been tested in a number of natural tourist areas, including:
- TWA TelogoWarno-TelogoPengilon;
- TWA Grojogan Sewu;
- Mount Merbabu National Park;
- Mount Merapi National Park;
- Baluran National Park;
- Mount Halimun Salak National Park;
- Kerinci Seblat National Park;
- Bunaken National Park;
- Alas Purwo National Park;
- Wakatobi National Park;
- Kelimutu National Park;
- Ijen Crater TWA;
- Betung Kerihun National Park and Lake Sentarum.
The list is an area informed by the Ministry of Forestry at the launch stage. Ticket availability for each destination can change according to management readiness, area conditions, visit quotas, weather and conservation policies.
Therefore, tourists need to check the destination directly through the official application or portal before arranging a trip.
Prevent crowding and maintain the area's carrying capacity
Ticket digitization is not only aimed at making things easier for tourists. This system allows managers to monitor the number of visitors in real time so that overcrowding can be anticipated.
Visit data can also be used to help managers determine service capacity, provide facilities, and develop more sustainable natural tourism strategies.
