Tangerang City Assesses Green Open Space Locations and Waste Management Facilities in Benda
TANGERANG, GARISBUMI.com – The Tangerang City Government is reviewing a number of locations in Benda District for the development of green open space (RTH) and integrated waste management facilities. The plan is still in the stage of reviewing the potential and suitability of the land before development is realized.
Head of the Tangerang City Environmental Service (DLH) Yudi Pradana together with Benda Subdistrict Head Saipul Ulum visited a number of points in Jurumudi Baru Village and Benda Village, Friday (16/10/2026).
Yudi said the review was carried out to support planning for environmental facilities that are in accordance with location conditions and community needs.
"The green open space development plan is expected to add green space that will provide benefits to the community. Apart from supporting environmental quality, the existence of green open space also has the potential to become a public space that residents can use for activities," said Yudi.
Meanwhile, integrated waste management facilities are planned to support more organized waste handling. It is hoped that its presence can strengthen waste management while encouraging residents' awareness of environmental cleanliness.
Yudi emphasized that the construction location has not yet been finalized. The results of the review still require follow-up according to the planning stage.
"Selection of locations in Jurumudi Baru Village and Benda Village still requires follow-up according to the results of monitoring and planning stages. Therefore, this review is an important part of ensuring that the potential of the location can be studied before the development plan is realized," he said.
