SYNKRON Developed to Verify Reports and Prepare for Forest and Land Fires
Therefore, trials are directed at identifying the need to improve reporting and verification mechanisms, improve data quality, strengthen inter-agency coordination, and increase user capabilities.
Linking reports to monitoring
Head of the Forest Fire Prevention Sub-Directorate, M. Hariyanto, said that SINKRON is expected to help examine permit holder reports and provide more accurate supporting information for handling forest and land fires.
"The results are expected to be able to strengthen guidance, supervision, compliance evaluation, as well as preparation of follow-up recommendations in accordance with the authority of each agency," said Hariyanto.
He also emphasized the benefits of the system for business actors to understand their preparedness for forest fires.
"By optimizing SINKRON governance, it is hoped that business partners will not only be compliant in submitting administrative reports, but will also be able to know their level of preparedness in facing forest fires," he said.
With this development direction, it is hoped that reporting data will become increasingly useful for assessing coaching and supervision needs. However, these benefits are still development targets that need to be tested and evaluated.
