Waste banks, TPS3R, BUM Desa, BUPDA, community groups and business actors are expected to be involved in this ecosystem.
Koster emphasized five aspects to strengthen Bali's waste management system: regulatory consistency, institutional strengthening, changes in community behavior, multi-party collaboration, and management connectivity from upstream to downstream.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the DPD RI Sultan Baktiar Najamudin assessed that environmental quality must be a measure of the success of Bali's development, along with the achievements of the tourism sector.
"Bali's success is not only measured by the number of tourists, but is assessed by the condition of cleanliness and availability of clean water and healthy air," said Sultan.
He emphasized the importance of collaboration between the central and regional governments to realize a green parliament, green government, and environmentally sound waste management.
