GARISBUMI.com – SERUYAN, GARISBUMI.com | The Seruyan Regency Government is preparing air fleet support to speed up monitoring of areas prone to forest and land fires (karhutla), including areas that are difficult to reach by land. This readiness is expected to help handle fires and protect the community and the environment.

Seruyan Regent Ahmad Selanorwanda reviewed the operational readiness of the Ministry of Forestry's Air Task Force at Kuala Pembuang Airport, Tuesday (3/11/2026), according to a statement from the Seruyan Regency Government.

During the review, the group checked the readiness of the AS350B3E helicopter with registration PK-DAP operated by Derazona Air Service. The fleet was prepared to support monitoring and overcoming forest and land fires in Seruyan Regency.

Regional access is a concern

According to information from the Seruyan Regency Government, Ahmad emphasized the need for preparedness of all relevant elements. Handling forest and land fires involves coordination with the regional government, Ministry of Forestry, Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), TNI, Polri and other agencies.
