Preventing Garbage from Narrowing the Road, DLH Cirebon Arranges Krucuk TPS
CIREBON, GARISBUMI.com – The Cirebon City Environmental Service (DLH) arranged the Krucuk Temporary Shelter (TPS) to prevent piles of rubbish from narrowing the roads and disrupting traffic flow, Friday (9/10/2026).
Through the Waste Management Technical Implementation Unit (UPT), officers transport the waste to the Kopiluhur Final Processing Site (TPA) while simultaneously cleaning and tidying up the area around the TPS. This arrangement is carried out to maintain the cleanliness and comfort of the environment in the main road area.
The activity took place since morning involving UPT personnel and a fleet of waste trucks. The Head of Cirebon City DLH was also present to review the implementation.
Apart from cleaning up daily piles of rubbish to restore the TPS's capacity, officers are organizing the disposal area. This step aims to make access to residents' rubbish carts and truck fleets more orderly.
The Head of the Waste Management UPT reminded that cleanliness of the TPS also requires discipline from the community and independent waste collection officers. Garbage must be placed in a container so that it does not scatter in the surrounding area.
"We urge the public and independent waste collection officers to always dispose of rubbish right in the TPS containers, and to comply with the designated disposal hours so that the area around the TPS remains neat and does not obstruct the road," he stressed.
By transporting waste and arranging the operational area, Cirebon City DLH is trying to maintain the function of the Krucuk TPS while ensuring that waste management activities do not disturb road users.
