TABALONG, GARISBUMI.com – The thinning of smoke haze in Tabalong Regency has not been followed by the return of air quality to the healthy category. Monitoring at Murung Pudak Station, Mabuun, Tuesday (27/10/2026) at 08.00 WITA, recorded an Air Pollution Standard Index (ISPU) of 130 or the unhealthy category.

This figure has improved compared to monitoring the previous day which reached the dangerous category. However, the Tabalong Regency Environmental Service (DLH) reminded residents to remain aware of their exposure to air pollutants even though the smoke haze is visually starting to decrease.

Attention is especially directed to children, the elderly, pregnant women and people with respiratory problems.
