School Residents Urged to Limit Outdoor Activities
Apart from online learning, educational units and the community are advised to limit outdoor activities to reduce exposure to air pollution. Efforts to reduce the entry of smoke into classrooms and closed rooms are also a concern.
The public is asked to use appropriate masks if they have to do outdoor activities and be wary of complaints such as coughing, shortness of breath and eye irritation. If complaints get worse, residents are advised to immediately go to the nearest health service facility.
Relevant agencies will continue to monitor air quality and visibility. The monitoring results become the basis for evaluation to determine the continuation of learning policies and community protection measures.
