"Let's start from ourselves, from our smallest environment, for the sake of the future legacy of our children and grandchildren and for the sake of realizing a West Kutai that is increasingly prosperous, safe, fair, equitable and civilized," he said in a speech read by the Regional Secretary.
Meanwhile, Head of West Kutai DLH RL Bandarsyah said, FGD was a space to gather experience, information and input from various parties. These materials will be used to develop strategies that suit regional needs.
"Through this FGD, we hope to gather input, experience and information from all participants as material for preparing an IEC Academic Study that is in accordance with the conditions and needs of West Kutai Regency," he explained.
Bandarsyah hopes that the results of the study can be translated into concrete waste management strategies and programs that are implemented. In this way, the results can become a reference for implementing activities, as well as strengthening education and community participation.
