HBKB Lake Sunter Opens Free Transjakarta Access for the Elderly and People with Disabilities

JAKARTA, GARISBUMI.com – Motor Vehicle Free Day (HBKB) in the South Sunter Lake area, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, Sunday (25/10/2026), is a place for residents to take care of access to public transportation. The Transjakarta Free Service Card (KLG) registration service for the elderly and people with disabilities is provided with a quota of 50 applicants.

Head of the Traffic and Road Transport Control and Operations Section for the North Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department, Yulza Romadhoni Putra, said the cards could be printed directly on site. This service makes it easier for residents to access free travel using Transjakarta.

"This service received an enthusiastic response from the community. We provide a quota of 50 applicants with card printing directly on site to make it easier for residents," he said.

Apart from being an exercise space, the South Sunter Lake HBKB provides health checks, Mobile Samsat, BPJS Health registration, and a mobile library. The MSME bazaar assisted by Jakpreneur also complements residents' activities.

Introducing 12 Coastal Tourism Destinations

In the same area, visitors can enjoy the Jakarta Coastal City Frame (JCCF) 2026 photography exhibition. This exhibition highlights 12 of North Jakarta's top tourist destinations.

Assistant for North Jakarta Economy and Development, Wawan Budi Rohman, said that the exhibition is expected to introduce the potential of coastal tourism to the wider community, including foreign tourists.

"This time HBKB is special because it presents the Jakarta Coastal City Frame (JCCF) 2026 photo exhibition which highlights 12 leading tourist destinations in North Jakarta," he said.
