SOUTH TANGERANG, GARISBUMI.com – The National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) together with the Indonesian Air Force are preparing to reactivate artificial rain consoles to support the management of forest and land fires (karhutla). The activity, which is part of the work series of the Weather Modification Operations Integrated Desk Team, aims to determine the physical condition and technical readiness of the equipment. The results of the inspection will be the basis for preparing console repairs in Bandung.

Manager of National Vital Objects (Obvitnas) and Occupational Health and Safety (K3) KST B.J. BRIN's Habibie, Agus Basuki, said inspections were needed to ensure equipment function could be restored and met operational requirements.
