Secretary General of the Ministry of Forestry Mahfudz asked each work unit to validate data, ensure legality, secure assets and optimize their use.

"This condition is a concern for strengthening data validation, securing assets, ensuring legality, and optimizing the use of BMN," said Mahfudz at the National Coordination Meeting in Manggala Wanabakti, Jakarta, Thursday (22/10/2026).

Work units are asked to identify obstacles, complete documents, assign responsible persons, and speed up completion in a measurable manner.

The Ministry of Forestry also launched RIMBA ASSET, a dashboard to support the optimization of assets that have not been utilized optimally. The development is planned to include asset identification and validation, establishment of utilization schemes, and digital monitoring.

Mahfudz emphasized that asset management and procurement must be integrated so that spending supports the performance of the forestry sector.
