Bima City Encourages ASN to Regularly Sort Waste through the Charity Wednesday Movement
BIMA CITY, GARISBUMI.com – The Bima City Government encourages the habit of sorting and reducing plastic waste in the regional environment through the Waste Charity Wednesday Movement. State civil servants (ASN) are invited to participate regularly and report the results of waste collection.
In a statement published by the Bima City Environmental Service (DLH) on Wednesday (21/10/2026), the implementation of this movement collected 25 kilograms of waste.
Bima City DLH also reported receiving three kilograms of bottle waste from the Bima State Treasury Services Office (KPPN). The statement did not specify whether the KPPN deposit was included in the reported amount of 25 kilograms.
This movement is a follow-up to the Circular Letter of the Mayor of Bima Number 100.3.4/120/IV/2026 concerning the Plastic Waste Charity Wednesday Movement.
Through these activities, it is hoped that sorting and reducing plastic waste will become a habit that is carried out consistently within regional apparatus.
Bima City DLH invites all ASN to continue to follow the movement, carry it out regularly, and report the results of activities. The invitation emphasizes the importance of building waste management habits in daily activities, beyond carrying out weekly activities.
